Mike,

I think you're looking for Robert Haag. He's in Tucson with a

phone number of 882-8804. I don't have an e-mail address for him, but I

think you could find it on the Internet.

The Center for Meteorite Studies at ASU looks at samples that

people think are meteorites. We can say yes or no within a few weeks,

depending on how much analysis is needed. The first questions would be:

Is the sample magnetic? Is it a shiny, silvery color on the inside

(after a mild grinding or filing)? We don't charge for this analysis,

but we'd like to know something about the sample before we took a look at

it.
